We apologize for possible errors
in the translation (made by google translator).
On the evening of Friday, May 27, 2011 an email
arrives to the redaction of "Vicenzapiu.com. It is
from Silvano Galan, a retired from Longara
(Vicenza):
"I am writing to alert you to a
strange phenomenon occurred near Long in Vicenza,
near St. Peter Intrigogna. Sunday morning walking on
the bank with my lady I noticed two intersected
circles drawn in a cornfield. I have no idea who's
the author of these circles and I never saw stuff
like that. I can only say that I believe they are
made with precision. "

May 29, appears a short article
at: http://blog.libero.it/ATEGODITODEVAGHE/10264344.html
We read a comment of "Melli 12"
Wonderful, even if they are a
hoax. Fatality the other day I called those of the
Committee of UFO Vicenza and they told me that they
had received reports compared with night lights. The
second thing that comes from there, it makes me
think of a hoax. Among other things, the two circles
at first sight cannot be considered authentic
because of the lack of some distinctive elements.
[...]The first is to observe bending of the ears,
the real circles have a real perfect folding and
reflections can be seen from inside the circle that
do not smudge. The other way is understood in
relation to history of crop circles itself. The
formation of the picture is much simpler than those
that appear in England, so we think that this is a
simple trick to gardeners. The circles have a real
incredible complexity and measure several hundred
meters in diameter in some cases. So I feel that
this one is a funny joke. "
Probably the columnist above is
right, and this crop is actually a "hoax" (false).
However we would like to take this opportunity to
try to make a minimum of information. To determine
if a crop is "genuine" or not (assuming it should be
clear on what it is genuine), the last things to
consider are the size and complexity of the glyph (subitems
if not irrelevant). It also does not make sense to
speak of "perfect bending" or not, rather we should
see if the ears are bent or broken, and if they are
bent you should see how high (stem or node, and the
basal level, intermediate or apical) and then
measure any lengthening of the nodes. But this must
be done immediately, since now certainly are
extended, because of phototropism. There were then
about 50 more operations to be performed and
information to be extrapolated before we can make a
definitive judgement. By our point of view, not
having any further information about this case, we
think that to give an opinion based on one email and
2 photos taken from far, it is totally
irresponsible. This, beyond your beliefs.
