AERIAL SHOTS GROUND SHOTS DIAGRAMS FIELD REPORTS ARTICLES

On August 18, Germany's third crop circle formation of 2011 was discovered in a field of wheat at Mittweida in the German federal state of Sachsen (Saxony).

One year before (2010), Mittweida has seen its first crop circle formation. This year's design is made of three crescents-shapes overlapping each other in a triangular arrangement. The idea represents a smaller variation of a British formation that was discovered in 2001 at Folly Barn near Liddington Castle in Wiltshire - a design that has been extensively geometrically discussed by Bert Janssen as well as by Allan Brown.
