The pattern is made up of a large semi circle, and four smaller circles in an arc. The semi circle and the four smaller circles together form a large circle 10 - 12 metres in diameter. In the four smaller circles the lay is clock wise.

Although the lay may seem messy in places, notice the dynamic and flowing lay both in the smaller circles and the larger semi circle. Also  notice how the flow of the downed stalks is continuous from one of the smaller circles to through the next and so forth.

A visitor to the formation on the 18th of August, found that the downed plants in several places had break marks half way up the stems,  and that the stems looked squashed 5-10 cm above the ground. He also noticed that the soil under the knots in the centres of the small  circles looked looser (liked it might have been messed with) than the soil in the rest of the formation.
