The new formation was discovered by the farmer in the early morning hours. It is placed within the very same field in which already the very first photographically documented crop circle in Switzerland was discovered 13 years ago in 1993. The new formation measures exactly 50 meters in diameter and is one of the best I've seen so far in Switzerland. The lay was very tidy and fluid and the geometry well performed. However, some doubts remain because of footprints discovered on the very same morning underneath the flattened wheat. One explanation could be the presence of the farmer's son soon after his father discovered the formation as we was walking around very extensively. Werner Anderhub |

The first Swiss formation was discovered on July 3, 2006, in a field of wheat at Stetten in the Kanton of Argau. The formation resembles a quite irregular hexagon with circles (about 2 meters in diameter each) marking each corner and each circle is connected with its opposite by a - more or less - straight path. As said the formation looks quite crooked and misshaped in its geometry...and impression that gets supported by the new aerial-pictures. Peter Jetzer and Beni
Sidler of the Swiss Crop Circle Reserach Group "KORE'S" were at the site
and found a very mechanically flattened lay, crooked pathways, off
symmetry and last but not least postholes in the circle's centres
