I visited the Howick, Quebec Formation
on Friday, Aug 8 -- from my location to the Formation was a mere100 miles! I
shot the long pieced-together 'pole' shot from the top of a caravan which
some senior citizens had driven into the adjacent already-harvested field
(with the farmer's permission) ... I didn't use a tape measure, but estimate that overall (including the immediately adjacent 8 additional Circles) the main Formation was maybe 125 ' - 135' across; additionally, there were 2 smaller satellite Circles in the field to one side of this main Pattern, and 3 small satellites on the OTHER side of it. many Circles lay BETWEEN the tramlines ... The lay in the main Circle was unusual, and very similar to the lay in one of the '98Eltopia, WA Circles: a 2 1/2'-wide Path entered both of these Circles and stopped in the Circles' centers; the crop to the right of this entrance Path was laid counter clockwise (to the right), while the lay to the left half was spun clockwise (to the left); at Howick, all the the rest of the Circles that i checked out were laid COUNTER clockwise, though I didn't explore 2 of the outriders ... the frog story (shortened to the caption on the photo) I find fascinating -- wish these shots had come out better, but i hadn't brought my 50mm lens, only had the 28-something lens so it wasn't as sharp ... nevertheless, i think the holes over this poor critter's heart and abdomen can be made out clearly enough ... in the second frog photo, one can see that the skin on his head, neck, and back are intact (since that skin is tougher than his belly's) ... his softer abdomen is what ruptured, exactly as the weakest part of the node on a grain stalk ruptures when the MASER Energies are pulsed into a field by the BoLs ... before i could lift the frog up to examine him, I had to tear the 3 stalks of barley that he'd become entangled in as he was attempting to escape, they were holding him so tightly ... after separating him from his bindings, I turned him over and could see that the unfortunate frog's entrails lay on the ground beneath him -- of course they, too, were totally desiccated ... there were no ants or other insects attempting to munch his desiccated remains ...
On a lighter note: there was the standard nearby fresh water source in
the form of a stream -- note the copse of trees just caught in the
right-hand side of the photo -- this is where the stream ran ... ALL
Formation's Arrive within a football quarterback's throw of a freshwater
source, whether it's above ground or subterranean, else the stalks would
immediately die after the microwave bursts desiccated them. we know that the
seed heads continue to ripen after they've been 'Formationized', The farmer was open and very interested, gave me about 20 minutes out of
his busy day ... he had not heard his 2 dogs barking or any of his cows
mooing on Arrival Night, nor had anyone reported to him having seen Lights
over the area or in the nearby sky ... The farmer said that on the first day the Formation received around 300
visitors, including the press who over flew it (the aerial footage was shown
on the telly frequently, thank you if only for THIS, Signs! ;) and by the
time I'd gotten there 5 days later he estimated that the number of visitors
had climbed to somewhere around 600 folks, some driving over a hundred miles
to visit their first Circle! :-) All images ilyes Copyright 2002 Report - ilyes |
