Preliminary Report

On June 3, 2000, a new formation was discovered in a field at Schmedhagen near Stralsund in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. This is now the third formation in this area that has not seen crop circles in the previous years. the new formation is not more than 1 kilometre away from the formation at Klein Kedingshagen.

According to first reports this new formation is quite large as it was estimated to be about 200-300 metres long ( 656 - 984' ) and consist of a ringed circle of about 50m diameter and three long bars as well as of several smaller circles of various sizes.

More information and pictures will follow soon.

Thanks to the FGK and Raphael Maercker for providing this first information.
