Preliminary Report
On June 3, 2000, a new formation was discovered in a field at Schmedhagen near
Stralsund in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. This is now the third formation in this area that has not seen crop circles in the previous years.
the new formation is not more than 1 kilometre away from the formation at Klein Kedingshagen.
According to first reports this new formation is quite large as it was estimated to be about 200-300
metres long ( 656 - 984' ) and consist of a ringed circle of about 50m diameter and three long bars
as well as of several smaller circles of various sizes.
