PRELIMINARY REPORT
On June 25, 2000, a new and again large formation was discovered in a field of rye at Netze near
Waldeck in Hessen. It was visited on June 26, by researchers Dirk Moeller, Klaus Listmann, Ralf
Ritter and Ingrid Bieling. They reported that the formation mainly consist of the already known
meandering-shapes and that it covers nearly the length of the field streching out to 105m in total
length - a new German record for 2000...so far.
This time the phenomenon left the area of Zierenberg to came down a bit more in the South-West of
Hessen. But Netze is not unknown as in 1991 a formation appeared here on July 24 - just one day
after the famous formation at Grasdorf, Niedersachsen, was discovered.
More soon...
Thanks to Dirk Moeller ( FGK ) for providing this first information
