On June 11, 2000, a small but nice formation was discovered at Zierenberg, near Kassel in Hessen.
It consisted of a central circle with an concentric outer standing ring, placed within an eccentric
flattened circle with a small semi-circle attached to its perimeter. Again eccentric there is a
faint outer ring of about 36m diameter. A small circle is swirled into the standing crop between the
outer ring and the bulged circle and another small circle - now with a standing centre - is placed
just outside of the formation. Sadly the farmer strictly denies access to the field so
there will be no detailed measurements and probably no detailed ground survey.
