Reconstruction of the
2013 Harewell Lane formation
1. Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.
2. Construct the inscribed hexagon (regular six-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing up.
3. Construct a circle centered at the top of hexagon 2, passing through its lower righthand angular point.
4. Copy circle 3 five times, to the other angular points of hexagon 2.
5. Construct two inscribed equilateral triangles of circle 1, one pointing up, one pointing down.
6. Construct a circle centered at the righthand mutual intersection of triangles 5, passing through their upper lefthand intersection.
7. Copy circle 6 five times, to the other mutual intersections of triangles 5.
8. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the center of circle 6.
9. Construct two inscribed equilateral triangles of circle 8, one pointing up, one pointing down.
10. Construct the inscribed circle of triangles 9.
11. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 6 at the lefthand side.
12. Construct two inscribed equilateral triangles of circle 11, one pointing to the left, one to the right.
13. Construct the inscribed circle of triangles 12.
14. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the upper righthand intersection of circle 6 and upper lefthand circle 7.
15. Construct a circle concentric to circle 3, passing through the righthand mutual intersection of triangles 9.
16. Copy circle 15 to the center of circle 1.
17. Construct a circle concentric to circle 3, tangent to circle 16 at the upper side.
18. Copy circle 17 to the upper intersection of circle 14 and the vertical centerline.
19. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 18 at the upper side.
20. Circles 3, 4, 6, 7, 10, 13, 14, 16, and 19, are used for the final reconstruction.
21. Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.
22. Colour all areas corresponding to standing...
23. ...or to flattened crop, and finish the reconstruction of the 2013 Harewell Lane formation.
24. The final result, matched with the aerial image.
