Reconstruction of the 2012 Silbury Hill formation | ||
1.
Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.
2.
Construct the inscribed pentagon (regular 5-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing up.
3.
Construct a circle centered at the top of pentagon 2, passing through the intersection of its lower righthand side and the horizontal centerline.
4.
Copy circle 3 four times, to the other angular points of pentagon 2.
5.
Construct a circle concentric to circle 3, passing through the righthand intersection of circle 1 and the horizontal centerline.
6.
Copy circle 5 four times, to the centers of circles 4.
7.
Copy circle 3 to its upper intersection with the vertical centerline.
8.
Copy circle 5 to the center of circle 7.
9.
Draw and extend the five rays of pentagon 2, from its center through its angular points.
10.
Copy circles 7 and 8 four times, to the (outermost) intersections of circles 4 and rays 9.
11.
Construct a "two-points" circle (defined by the two end-points of a centerline) between the upper intersections of circles 3 and 8 with the vertical centerline.
12.
Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the center of circle 11.
13.
Copy circle 11 four times, to the intersections of circle 12 and the other rays 9.
14.
Copy circle 11 to its own upper intersection with the vertical centerline.
15.
Construct a circle centered at the top of pentagon 2, tangent to the upper lefthand circle 6 at the near side.
16.
Copy circle 15 to the upper intersection of circle 14 and the vertical centerline, and move this circle (copy and delete original) to its own lower intersection with it.
17.
Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the center of circle 16.
18.
Extend rays 9 upto circle 17.
19.
Copy circle 15 four times, to the intersections of circle 17 and the other lines 18.
20.
Circles 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 16 and 19, are used for the final reconstruction.
21.
Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.
22.
Colour all areas corresponding to standing...
23.
...or to flattened crop, and finish the reconstruction of the 2012 Silbury Hill formation.
