Reconstruction of the 2012 Milk Hill (2) formation | ||
1.
Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.
2.
Construct two inscribed equilateral triangles of circle 1, one pointing to the left, one to the right.
3.
Construct a circle passing through the lefthand angular point of triangles 2, and passing through their upper and lower mutual intersections. (This circle is the half of a "Vesica Pisces", inscribed in circle 1).
4.
Repeat step 3 five times, with respect to the other angular points and corresponding mutual intersections of triangles 2.
5.
Construct a circle (concentric to circle 1) passing through the outer set of mutual intersections of circles 3 and 4.
6.
Construct a circle centered at the righthand intersection of circle 1 and the horizontal centerline, tangent to circle 5 at the righthand side.
7.
Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 6 at the righthand side.
8.
Construct a horizontal line, tangent to the upper two circles 4 at the upper sides.
9.
Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to line 8.
10.
Construct the circumscribed equilateral triangle of circle 9, pointing down.
11.
Construct the circumscribed circle of triangle 10.
12.
Construct the inscribed circle of circles 3 and 4.
13.
Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 12, pointing up.
14.
Construct the inscribed circle of triangle 13.
15.
Construct a "two-points" circle (defined by the two end-points of a centerline) between the center of circle 1 and the righthand intersection of circle 14 and the horizontal centerline.
16.
Construct two inscribed equilateral triangles of circle 15, one pointing to the left, one to the right.
17.
Construct a circle passing through the lefthand angular point of triangles 16, and passing through their upper and lower mutual intersections.
18.
Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 17 at the righthand side.
19.
Copy circle 18 to the righthand intersection of circle 14 and the horizontal centerline.
20.
Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 19 at the righthand side.
21.
Construct a circle concentric to circle 3, tangent to circle 20 at the righthand side.
22.
Copy circle 21 five times, to the centers of circles 4.
23.
Construct a circle centered at the righthand intersection of circle 3 and the horizontal centerline, tangent to circle 21 at the righthand side.
24.
Copy circle 23 to the righthand intersection of circle 7 and the horizontal centerline.
25.
Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 24 at the righthand side.
26.
Copy circle 15 to the righthand intersection of circle 11 and the horizontal centerline.
27.
Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 26 at the lefthand side.
28.
Circles 1, 3, 4, 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 22, 25 and 27, are used for the final reconstruction.
29.
Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.
30.
Colour all areas corresponding to standing...
31.
...or to flattened crop, and finish the reconstruction of the 2012 Milk Hill (2) formation.
