Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.
2.
Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 1, pointing up.
3.
Construct the inscribed circle of triangle 2.
4.
Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 1, pointing down.
5.
Construct the inscribed hexagon (regular six-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing up.
6.
Copy circle 3 and hexagon 5 as a whole to the top of hexagon 5.

9.
Copy circle 3 and hexagon 5 as a whole twelve times, to all outer angular points of hexagons 6, 7 and 8, as shown.
10.
Copy circle 3 to the upper angular point of uppermost hexagon 9, as shown.
11.
Copy circle 3 five more times, to the corresponding outer angular points of the five hexagons 9 on the corners, as shown.
12.
Construct a circle (concentric to circle 1) passing through the centers of circles 10 and 11.
13.
Construct a circle, tangent to the upper side of triangle 4 from above, and tangent to the upper two sides of triangle 2.
14.
Copy circle 13 to the center of circle 10.
15.
Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 14 at the upper side.
16.
Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the center of circle 13.
17.
Copy circle 16 six times, to the centers of circles 10 and 11.
18.
Construct a circle centered at the righthand intersection of triangles 2 and 4, passing through the lower intersection of circles 7 and 16.
19.
Copy circle 18 twelve times, to all intersections of circles 15 and 17.
20.
Construct a "two-points" circle (defined by the two end-points of a centerline) between the righthand intersection of circle 3 and the lefthand intersection of circle 18, both with the horizontal centerline.
21.
Copy circle 20 to the center of circle 10.
22.
Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 21 at the lower side. See detail.

23.
Construct the inscribed hexagon of circle 22, pointing up. See detail.
| ||
24.
Copy circle 20 twelve times, to the outer angular points of hexagons 9 out of and between circles 17, as shown. See also a detail.
| ||
25.
Draw six times two pairs of parallel lines, parallel to the sides of hexagon 23, each pair tangent to related circles 24 at both sides. See detail.
| ||
26.
Circles 3, 10, 11, 12 and 19, the circles of patterns 6, 7, 8 and 9, hexagon 23, and lines 25, are used for the final reconstruction.
27.
Remove all parts not present within the formation itself.
28.
Colour all areas corresponding to standing...
29.
...or to flattened crop, and finish the reconstruction of the 2010 Danebury Hill formation.
