Reconstruction of the 2009 Woodborough Hill formation | ||

| Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines. |
| 2. |
| Copy circle 1 to its righthand intersection with the horizontal centerline. Move this circle (copy and delete original) to its own corresponding intersection. |

| Copy circle 1 to the righthand intersection of circle 2 and the horizontal centerline. |
| 4. |
| Copy circle 1 to the righthand intersection of circle 3 and the horizontal centerline. |
| 5. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 4, tangent to circle 1 at the righthand side. |
| 6. |
| Construct a "two-points" circle (defined by the end-points of a centerline) between the righthand intersection of circle 5 and the lefthand intersection of circle 1, both with the horizontal centerline. |
| 7. |
| Copy circles 4, 5 and 6 as a whole, while mirroring with respect to the vertical centerline. |
| 8. |
| Remove from circles 1, 4, 5, 6 and 7, all parts not visible within the formation itself. |
| 9. |
| Copy circle 5 to its righthand intersection with the horizontal centerline, and move it to its own corresponding intersection. |

| Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 9 at the righthand side. |

| Copy circle 1 to the righthand intersection of circle 10 and the horizontal centerline. |

| Construct a "two-points" circle between the intersections of circle 6 and its copied circle 7. |

| Construct a "two-points" circle between the lefthand intersection of circle 3 and the righthand intersection of circle 12, both with the horizontal centerline. |

| Copy circle 13 to the righthand intersection of circle 11 and the horizontal centerline. |

| Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 14 at the lefthand side. |

| Copy circle 13 two times, to the intersections of circle 15 and the vertical centerline. |

| Copy circle 1 two times, one to the lefthand intersection of the upper circle 16, and one to the righthand intersection of the lower circle 16, both with circle 15. |

| Construct the inscribed nonagon (regular 9-sided polygon) of circle 15, with one angular point coincident with the lefthand intersection of upper circle 17 and circle 15. |

| Construct the inscribed nonagon of circle 15, with one angular point coincident with the lefthand intersection of lower circle 17 and circle 15. |

| Divide the four larger arcs of circle 29 in between rays 37 each into seven equal parts, as shown. |

| Draw twenty-four rays, from the center of circle 1 to the division-points of arcs 38. |

| Construct thirty-two circles, tangent to each pair of adjacent rays 37 and 39, and tangent to circle 29 inwardly, as shown (with some examples). |

| Remove from pattern 8, circles 29 and 40, and rays 37 and 39, all parts not visible within the formation itself. |
| 42. |
| Patterns 26 and 41, and circles 10, 28 and 35, together make up the final reconstruction. |

| Colour all areas corresponding to standing... |
