Could the bright comet shown at Ogbourne St. Andrew be 88P/Howell?

A new crop picture at Ogbourne St. Andrew on July 29, 2009 suggested that a bright comet may become visible in Earth’s sky soon: after a lunar eclipse on August 6, followed by another full Moon on September 4. The brightest comet to reach perihelion soon will be 88P/Howell (see www.aerith.net or almanako.com), although other faint candidates might be possible (see ast.cam.ac.uk).

Interestingly enough, the date of perihelion for Comet 88P/Howell as October 12, 2009 lies halfway between two other dates which were given in binary code at Silbury Hill on July 5: namely September 6 and November 17 (see silburyhill). If Comet 88P/Howell does outburst to a much brighter object as it approaches the Sun, then it should be easily visible from Earth during all of that 72-day period (see http://neo.jpl.nasa.gov/orbits).

From what I gather, They were Here before this prehistoric creature.

The round barrow in Ogbourne St Andrew churchyard was said to be avoided by children (in 1938*) as there was “a well-authenticated legend that it is the abode of venomous vipers”. Perhaps it had a resident snake population - or could the idea possibly relate to serpents and dragons being symbolic to Christians of the devil? (*from the North Wilts Herald of Aug 19, 1938, and mentioned in volume 50 of the Wilts Arch journal.)

Some might also take significance from the statement that the church (or the barrow itself?) is said to be one of the ‘nodes’ on the Michael/Mary leyline (the undulating leyline being likened to a serpent y’know) - see Miller and Broadhurst’s account of following it across the country, ‘The Sun and the Serpent’. The lines converged again in the churchyard at Ogbourne St Andrew.. There is a prehistoric mound, along with the church, located within a circular raised bank. In the middle of the mound was [a] node. Trees swayed and tall wildflowers whispered gently in the breeze in another of those secret magical places that understate their true significance. Mary ran directly along the axis of the church into the mound and disappeared off across the Marlborough Downs.

The monster has come from the prehistoric barrow.

On 2009-07-29 United Kingdom Wiltshire Ogbourne St Andrew, nr Marlborough there is not doubt of the information about a comet passing the Sun. On this picture from SOHO on 08/01/09 you can see at least two very clear comets on the last two days. SOHO is the most successful comet discoverer in history, having found over one thousand six-hundred comets in over thirteen years of operation! If there is going to be a special comet view on the next month, I'm sure we will have it record at SOHO. More info at http://www.youtube.com/user/is2012thedate

This is an Update on Ogbourne St Andrew, nr Marlborough, Wiltshire. Reported 29th July.
Rare picture took by SOHO Observatory on August 16 03:16 shows three comets in front of lens. Two of the comets are barely seen but its tail is very clear. A third comet is seen very clear and shows many of the scenes draws in the crop circle of July 29th. The formation shows seven circles on route of the comets and SOHO Observatory is full working with its seven most important instruments. Any coincidence in the prediction of this event in a unpredictable man made instrument? More information at http://www.youtube.com/user/Is2012TheDate

This is an important note concerning the ‘Ogbourne St Andrew’ formation of 29th July 2009. I can tell you first-hand that the farmer is allowing visitors onto his land, as long they observe the usual common sense guidelines of respecting the land. There are indeed two contribution buckets from the farmer (both for good causes) - one for a cystic fibrosis charity and one for a local community brass band. The farmer, Mr. James Shephard, has been superbly generous and open-minded in allowing a steady stream of hundreds of visitors onto his land. He met with many of them, chatted and shared stories and theories about the circle makers. Please return his graciousness by respecting the land, leaving a donation and enjoying the wonderful circle and the views it affords over this beautiful valley.

I have attached a picture of a Sumerian tablet that appears to be very similar to the July 29th circle at Ogbourne St. Andrews.  It would be interesting to get a Sumerian experts interpretation of this one.

This formation illustrates the intense monitoring of each comet by the circle makers.

Here the ovoid figures indicate at least two space vehicles in ghost or astral mode, undetectable by EM instruments, closely guiding Comet E. Initially, the comet appears to be passing behind each of the four gas planets. After leaving the proximity of Jupiter the next encounter is with the space station previously shown in the June 21, Milk Hill crop circle. This structure, located near the Asteroid Belt, is able to detect comets before they acquire a coma using some type of radar-like method. The last stage shows Comet E with its initial coma. The straight line is evidently included to help describe the organism depicted in the crop circle as a whole, which may or may not exist now, but will exist at the time of Comet E (c. 2260 AD) and suffer from the impact.
