My initial impression of this crop circle is that it resembles and HIV virus - for what if any reason is a good guess. Just thought I'd pass on a casual observation on my part.

The first impression I had after looking at the July 23 Milk Hill (4) crop formation was of an Aztec symbol. It has extraordinary resemblance to the Yohualli symbol, which means "The Night".

1)     Night symbol as depicted in the 1961 edition of The Ancient Mexicans (by Miguel Leon-Portilla)

2) The Yohualli symbol as depicted in the 2005 edition of  Aztec Culture and Knowledge (by Guadalupe Pimentel). This one is more similar to the July 23 crop circle.

Each of the dots or eyes around the main circle, represent the Citlalli Aztec symbol, which means "Star".

This simple formation (by today’s standards) appears to be a straightforward depiction of Comet D with its nine fragments fully heated up before final impact. The imperfect geometry may or may not be important. A similar example of Comet D was in 1990, July 31st; Gorleston on Sea, except one fragment is shown moving from one position to another.
