Construction
Waden Hill, Avebury Wiltshire. Reported 19th April.
Make a regular hexagon and draw two
lines between its corners, as shown. These give the two radii we are
going to use, and they are in the ratio of 2 to √3. Draw circles around
each of the six corners using them. Voila! Colour in the crescent moons.
This crop formation was first reported to the
Silent Circle by local residents during the morning of April 19
2008.
The circle is approximately 180 feet diameter and is positioned high
on the North facing flank of Waden Hill, and can be seen from the
A361 when approaching Avebury from the Beckhampton roundabout.
On the ground the formation is messy, with a significant proportion
of the downed rape-seed (Canola) plants seriously damaged around the
base area....
It's a great start of the season with this seemingly simple
design. Looking behind the curtain we get again amazing
information about the Great Pyramid being the chief of the
Platonic Solids so to say. This swirl is a basic code of the
universe.
