24 June Horton –
This
is a Vesica Pisces design, where the radius of each of the two
circles is equal to the distance between the tramlines. The
Circlemakers have elegantly shown this, by having a circle laid
down in the wheat within the Vesica, just fitting between two
tramlines.

Horton of June 24 closely
resembles West Kennett of June 6: a partial solar eclipse with
40% overlap between Sun and Moon will be visible from northern
England or
Scotland on August 1, 2008

In light of new and excellent
field photographs by Janet Ossebaard, it now seems likely that
Horton of June 24 may be paranormally real, and intended to
illustrate the same theme as West Kennett of June 6. Namely,
that residents of northern England or Scotland will be able to
see a partial solar eclipse with 40% overlap between Sun and
Moon on the morning of August 1, 2008.

This is a great formation, the Sun and Moon
theme continues. I love the way it has been constructed with
swirls and spirals, there is a lovely knot in the centre. The
walls are good but the young crop is now reasserting itself. It
is now 10 days old and some parts are losing cohesion. The
Farmer has put up some notices to deter people from entering his
field and damaging his crop.

I would like to
add a couple of very belated observations about two Circles that
we visited with the Conference tour on 3/8/08. The first is
about the Horton formation: I noticed as we passed it that there
was an old WW2 Pillbox by the side of the road near to it. I
just wondered if it had been checked for alignment
commonalities, as the formation has a passing resemblance to a
gun turret?
