How might East Field of July 9
be oriented in the field toward its local horizon?
If the preliminary sketch is accurate, then East Field of July 9
shows a clever optical illusion concerning an upcoming solar
eclipse on August 1, 2008. In other words, it shows the
"triangular Sun" motif of Stanton Bridge from July 14, 2007 (see
HERE) combined with the "Sun-Moon eclipse" motif of West
Kennett from June 6 (see
HERE) or Horton from June24 (see
HERE):
Some relation to a near-total lunar eclipse on August 16, 2008,
as shown at East Kennett on June 8, cannot yet be ruled out (see
HERE). But we still need to learn the field
orientation of that new crop picture along its
long axis, in order to determine where exactly it points on the
local horizon? Those data may then be compared to the
predictions of an astronomical almanac or eclipse computer for
August 1, 2008 (see
HERE or
HERE).

Another classic from East Field, the Sun
Moon series continues. I like this one, and eagerly look
forward to the next one in these fields. As far as I am
concerned the lay and the walls are good, the young crop is
now reasserting itself but does not detract from the
ambience of the formation. There were a lot of people
visiting and and observing the etiquette of crop circle
visiting and keeping to the tram lines. I was disturbed
however to find crop damaged by uncaring people and I have
added a picture of this disgraceful behaviour.

I noticed the recent circle in East Field on your
site. It appears to depict the Kabbalistic tree of life, and the
four levels are the four worlds. I and a friend meditated on a
picture of a tree and circles on Adam's grave two days before the
image appeared. At that point there weren't any crop circles in the
fields around, other than an old one in oil seed under Milk Hill.

Picture of statically
charged hair while in Alton Barnes (1) formation
Just wanted to submit the attached
picture taken when visiting the crop formation at Alton
Barnes yesterday (Mon 28th July). There were a few
rain showers and my girlfriend and I were already wet, but
it was still warm and there was very little or no wind.
While walking in the formation my
girlfriend looked and me and said my hair was 'standing up',
I then noticed her hair was doing the same thing. It was as
though the hair was statically charged! Note the hair was
already wet and there was no wind that was making it stand
up. We both had felt a wave of energy in our bodies while in
that crop circle. Attached a picture of my girlfriend and
her hair standing up, feel free to post it up on your site.
