Pentagram or The
Pentagon?
This simply remarkable formation takes
one's breath away. It has two wonderfully tapered and
delicate crescents surrounding the mysterious pentagram.
The Pentagram was very important to the
Pythagoreans, who were a secret society. This symbol runs
through history in many mystical ways. It also appears in
Masonic regalia, the layout of Washington DC, and is the
basic design for one of the largest buildings on earth, The
Pentagon.
Stuart and myself decided to make the
trip north to the village of Barton-le-Clay to photograph
all aspects of this formation which was in a wheat field in
a beautiful valley surrounded by hills. We were richly
rewarded for our efforts to cover this important event by
just being able to be there!

Stunning Formation appears far away from
the fields of Wiltshire!
A remarkable formation has appeared in
Bedfordshire. Oh for an aerial! If anyone can take a shot from
the air please do it. We would love to show it on the website.
Even from the hill shot (well done Liam) I can see this is an
extraordinary event. Quite mind blowing!

Reconstruction of the
2008 Barton Le Clay formation

By Zef Damen
A Venus pentagram with
three of five orbital cycles remaining
A new and beautiful crop picture that
appeared at Barton Le Clay on August 14, 2008 seems to show the
well-known pentagram cycle of Venus as seen from Earth: see
http://southmovement.alphalink.com.au
or
www.eso.org. Thus, planet
Venus returns to the same phase as seen from Earth once every 584
days or 1.6 years. Yet it takes five full cycles or 5 x 1.6 = 8.0
years for Venus to return to the same location in our sky relative
to background stars.
The new crop picture from Barton Le
Clay first shows us all five cycles of Venus as a pentagram. Then it
tells us that only three cycles or 3 x 1.6 = 4.8 years
currently remain, until something important happens in the near
future: an end to their Sun-Venus calendar on March 28, 2013, or
something else entirely?

A similar "three
cycles of Venus" were shown symbolically at Nettle Hill on
June 29 (see
nettle2008.html),
Honey Street on July 4
(see
stanton2008.html),
or Westwoods on July 17
(see
westwoods2008.html).
"Ten eclipse seasons" of 4.8 years were likewise shown at
Etchilhampton Hill on August 15 (see
Etchilhampton2008a.html).

To find the formation park by the church in
Barton-it's along the road to Hitchin on the right out of
Barton- grid reference 086303 on Ordnance Survey map 166
Landranger, easily visible from the footpath up towards the
springs and not far from the church. it needs some good aerial
shots.
The formation had a gentle feminine energy
and hadn't been well visited. Some of the triangular sections
forming the points of the pentagram had unbroken walls, so no
one had been in. the crop was surprisingly dry but not broken.
The lay flowed in many sections, in others it had started to
spring up again.
In 2003 a pentagram formation appeared about
0.5 of a mile away across the other side of the A6 in Barton.

Barton Le Clay and Mayan
astrology
Julian and Stuart may be correct concerning their interpretation
of the "Pentagon" crop picture from Barton Le Clay in August
2008. It was superimposed upon a five-pointed star for planet
Venus, thereby suggesting a possible link to ancient Mayan
astrology:
"Any rise of Venus in the morning sky was considered by the
Mayans to be a herald of war" (see
www.authenticmaya.com/maya_warfare.htm).
"The Venus cycle was especially important for the Mayans. Their
rulers planned wars to begin when Venus rose" (see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maya_codices).
So when will Venus next rise in our morning sky? In April
2009, superimposed apparently upon an image of the US
Pentagon building! Are they trying to tell us something?

(This is a theory only and that's the way it
should be looked at - A THEORY) The formation in Barton wasn't
created because our artistic friends fancied a change of
scenery. I do believe its intentional My theory on this
formation is indeed based on the Pentagon. The anniversary of
9-11 is around the corner. Spooky that this formation lies below
the flight and landing path from the USA or to the USA to and
from Luton Airport. (Needs to be confirmed). The solitary circle
in this formation is facing the South side or even maybe the
East of the Pentagon. All I can say is " I hope history isn't
about to repeat itself ! " or it could be a reminder of the
past.
