New Sensations

Entering the more complex of the two formations opposite the Avebury stone avenue was a new experience for me. I clambered through the maize, which was much higher than myself, making sure not to damage the crop plants. There are no tram lines to assist. It seemed to take a long time to reach the formation. All the time I was hoping not to miss it completely and walk by it without being aware of its true location. A bizarre sensation.

The stems of the maize are more like small tree trunks in comparison to the delicate stems of barley and wheat. This makes it a completely different experience while walking around this intriguing design with its two high large centres.

The single circle nearer the road was easy to enter and had a few growing and standing maize plants left unaffected by the circular floor construction. This formation was easier to comprehend.

If you get a chance to visit these two formations I highly recommend you do. The added advantage is you can also take the opportunity to walk amongst  the ancient Avebury stones.

REPORT:

This glyph was first discovered on September 14th 2008 and can be clearly seen from the stone avenue road at Avebury.  The principle formation measures approximately 180 feet in diameter. The single circular element measures approximately 65 feet diameter.

The crop here is 6 feet high Maize. (Navigation problems apply here on the ground)

On the ground the large separate single circle is swirled to the ground in a clockwise rotation. A very large majority of the plants in this circle are broken at the base and very flat to the ground, whilst a small proportion of the plants are uprooted.

In the main formation the plants laid down in the two circular elements are swept inwards from the outer perimeter, culminating at the center of each of these circles in large densely woven pyramid shaped standing blocks. As in the single circle, the laid crops within this main formation are kinked of broken over in a rather heavy manner. Many of the plants here are broken off completely and are dead on the ground. A small proportion of the laid crops, across the entire glyph, were noted as being unbroken and continue to grow in a healthy fashion.

I have been to and have taken pictures at the new Avebury Stone Avenue event.  I noticed that the 2 dots from the Sanctuary Rocket and Fish combination were pointing in the direction of this one ... so Stuart's 'or is it' assessment is correct ... the centres of the dual combination looked like bonfires, my pictures give that appearance, are these the fire from the rockets from 2 sides, I did feel the CDs look made me feel a portal of the sound of light.  The large circle is pointing to a unified globe as of being the right track the correct path to follow, there are 4 standing stems in the centre, perhaps a compass, and its unity with the road and parallel to the wide green avenue. The dual combination could also be a portrait of Pisces the Zodiac fish, a recognised peace symbol - so perhaps asking us in both The Sanctuary and The Avenue, which do we want War or Peace, where will we feel safe, which way shall we go? The white creatures are insects, they do look a little like fairies in the right mind-light.

COMMENTS

Whilst sitting in the one of the centre circles of the formation at Avebury Stone Avenue (14/9/08), I noticed some insects on the heads of the maize. On a closer inspection I found they were flies that had been frozen in motion.

You could actually see them eating, perched with their wings spread open as if they had just landed but they were not alive. I called Julie over to try and capture this on camera. The more we looked the more we found, some heads had up to six flies attached. We think this is the ultimate proof that this formation came in daylight and was formed by a non human force in unison.

A sample of these flies were given to Charles Mallett for further investigation.

The timing of this formation is a clue to it's message:

As the full moon was 14th Sept 2008 and located astrologically in Pisces it is not surprising that the formation has a big circle and two Yin-Yang shapes that represent Pisces.

The ‘Yin-Yang’ elements of 5 are in a ratio of 3 flat 2 standing crop
 which is 3:2 = a perfect 5th in music.
But I believe it represents the five moon phases:

Waxing Half,

Waxing Crescent

New

Waning Crescent
Waning Half
