As I gaze at the most recent crop circle in Britain at North Down, nr Beckhampton, reported August 19, 2007, my eye keeps returning to the significantly askew ‘cube’ form to the left of the cube whose circle is adjacent the two small outside circles.  This cannot be a mere ‘mistake’, considering the precision that has been applied to make the entire formation in the very ripe crop.

To me this formation has a definite connection with the Pewsey Whitehorse formation, August 4, as well as all the other formations this year in which we see the cube appear repeatedly.  It also has a very strong connection for me with the Juggler’s Lane nr Cherhill, formation of August 21, 2005.

The cube, as well as being a signifier for the time aspect of the sundials used so long ago, as Red Collie pointed out to us, and as well as being symbolic of Metatron’s cube, can also be representative of the crystal structure of iron which is the structure of the Earth’s core itself!!  In my article of August 2005 for the Juggler’s Lane formation I said: 

“… a real physical reference can be inferred by this formation in that it can be seen as a diagram of the crystal structure of iron.

                            Earth’s solid core is a crystal 1,500 miles in diameter. 

The solid core of our Earth is an iron crystal of the hexagonal close-packed type.  It is about 1,500 miles in diameter. The extreme conditions of pressure allow the iron to exist as one solid crystal 3,000 miles down from the Earth’s crust. It rotates in an eastward direction, contrary to the Earth’s tectonic plates, and 100,000 times faster than the movement of the plates. I imagine that the ‘heart’ of Earth is like a huge magnificent dynamo generating life up from Her core and holding all in place and correct relation by Her tremendous force of gravitational ‘love’.”  

The symbol of the cube also signifies the earth, solidity, as complementary to the circle/sphere of heaven, in Chinese tradition.  In Mayan tradition the Tree of Life grows up from the centre of a cube which is Earth.

        The Tree of Life, according to the Olmec and the later Maya, grows out of a cube.

The cube also represents the final state of a cycle, perfect stability , completion, static perfection.  It is a model of the New Jerusalem and is an image of static perfection in the Ka’aba of the Muslim faith.

              The cube is considered to be complete and perfect because of its solid nature.  

With these strong references to Earth symbolism and then another clue coming from Cois Geysen of Belgium about  the Sugar Hill nr Upper Upham August 1st formation, telling us that perhaps some of the  energy involved with the making of the crop circles is coming from the Earth Herself: 

“The photographs show a simple Geiger counter that measure alpha, beta and gamma rays. Photograph 1 show the measuring in bq in the standing wheat in the formation, photograph 2 and 3 shows the very high radiation value and was taken in the flattened wheat in the middle of the formation. Most strange is that this radiation was no longer measurable in the picked bent stems, what means that the radiation comes from the earth.” 

we can assume that as well as indicators of time, and  connections to knowledge of the ancients, these formations actually can tell us, if we use intuitive and scientific understanding together, something of what the crop circles mean in relation to happenings in our world.  We are the ones who must begin to understand, accept and live the messages.  No one is going to force us; but there are many helpers standing by and communicating as much and as best they can. 

“When coupled with the sphere, [cube & sphere] symbolize the totality of the heavenly and the earthly, the finite and the infinite, the created and the uncreated, this world and the world above.” (Chevalier  268).

If we take the point of view that the cubes represent Earth or matter and the circles represent heavenly influences, then North Down gives us a picture of eight ‘Earths’ and eight ‘Heavens’.  Each heaven relates directly to an Earth by way of the straight lines or axes emanating from the circle centers to the Earth cubes.  If we take the two outside marker circles as indicators of where to start, then we could see that this formation is telling us about eight worlds (or underworlds), with the final one in this formation being askew. 

Carl Johan Calleman and Barbara Hand Clow have both written about Calleman’s hypothesis regarding the Mayan Calendar and how it represents time as an evolutionary tool which is now accelerating to bring planet Earth and Her inhabitants into the Universal Underworld from the Galactic Underworld in which we now live ( since January 1999, when the Solar System began its alignment with the Centre of the Milky Way).  This interpretation of the Mayan Calendar gives us a very believable, sensible and elegant understanding of our whole history and the history of the planet since 16.4 billion years ago. It shows us nine stages of evolution, called underworlds by the Maya, and even marks the linear time parameters for the beginning of each (Please see www.calleman.com for more information on this concept).

What is slightly troubling about the North Down formation (compared to the Pewsey one, say, which just lays out the direction we are going in) is the askew Earth cube in the eighth position, representing our time, the Galactic Underworld  (in its late stage by the way).  Could it mean that somehow evolution is coming across a glitch during this period of human dominance in the forms of politics, economics, warfare, technology??  Is it a warning that we as the dominant species on the planet are taking a wrong turn??

And what could correct that? A warning implies that things could be changed!   Holistic thinking/living?? Peace and harmony??  Compromise for the sake of peace and harmony??  International co-operation?? Integrity?? Heart/intuition-guided action??  Ecology and Earth-based community/economy?? 

The heavens are doing what they can for our beautiful planet.  Can each of us in our own individual lives and consciousness, tune into the Heart of the Earth who does not fail us?  Are we able, as a collective of intelligent beings, to arrive at a psychic stability that is required for us to enter into the New Creation that we are being shown and promised by sympathetic beings in the Universe??  One  hopes for the resounding YES!!
