Here are shots of the rings converging and an interesting signature feature outside the main formation.  Note this is a very well favoured location for circles.

We checked out the Toot Baldon formation today.  I have attached an initial sketch without the grape shots that Ellis Taylor included in his initial report.  It is two 5' wide intersecting rings measuring approx 400' around (132' diameter).  There is a circle centred in the resulting Vesica Pisces which measures about 60' across.  Within the centre of the circle is a six petaled "seed of life" formation.  The southernmost ring is laid in a counter-clockwise direction.  Interestingly though, the northern most ring is split down the middle by a thin line of standing crop with the inner half of the ring flowing clockwise and the outer half of the ring flowing counter clockwise.

Within the centre, there is a narrow ring of laid crop forming a circle around the seed of life petals.  There is no nest no speak of in the centre, but one small nest in the laid section of the crop between petals which points nearly due north from the centre of the formation.  It feels very fresh and fluffy still, although I feel that it has been in the field for a few at least 2-4 days.  I recommend aerial shots of this one.

One for St Mary's methinks. Remember what I was telling you re. the church.

Very beautiful, though unfortunately succumbed a bit to the rough weather we have had in these parts. Feels good. High energy blanked some of the photos. Hope someone flies it. Unfortunately I can't at the moment.
