Meaning of the "Fool" Tarot Card from the book "Numerology
and the Divine Triangle" by Faith Javane and Dusty Bunker
Tarot Symbolism: (Key 0 and 22) - The Fool (before and
after)
The master number 22 holds a unique position in the Tarot deck.
Theoretically, the Major Arcana begins at key 1 and continues
thrugh key 21. The Minor Arcana begins at 23, the King of Wands, and
continues on to 78, the Ten of Pentacles. The Fool, as key 0, stands by
itself, representing the God force. 22 would seem to be missing;
however, since cyclicity is the essence of life, there can be no
ending. Therefore, the Fool, key 0, is the life force before entering
manifestation, and 22 is that same key 0, the Fool, having walked the
21 keys of the Major Arcana to complete that full cycle and step once
more beyond the present incarnation. 22 is the ancient
numerical symbol for a circle, and therefore represents
the Alpha and Omega...
The word fool comes from the Latin, follis, meaning a
bag of wind. Every genius is called a fool at some time, and that which
contains air or breath could be called a bag of wind; therefore, we are
the Fool in that sense. The Fool is the super-conscious, pictured
here as having room to take one more step. This indicates that we never
come to the limit of our potentials.
The White Sun is the universal radiant energy eternally rising, for it
can never reach its zenith. The mountains indicate attainment. They are
cold and uninteresting to many, but from their peaks melting snow
feeds the streams and makes the valley futile. So, too, ancient
wisdom will feed your consciousness and transform your life.
The Fool's wreath symbolizes victory. His wand is a measuring tool by
which we continually evaluate our accomplishments. His wallet contains
memories of the past, and the eagle on the wallet symbolizes the
awakening of higher vision toward loftier aspirations.
The dog under the Fool's control is the subhuman forms of life that are
elevated by the evolution of the consciousness. The white rose in the
Fool's left hand indicates that his desire is pure or spiritual and
untainted by lower desires and passions.
The Fool here is the cosmic life force about to descend, inexperienced,
into the world of manifestation.
Astrological Correspondence: Earth (and Uranus)
Since the master number 22 reduces to a 4, the earth holds dominion in
this vibration, coupled with Uranus, which is assigned to key 0,
the Fool.
Consciousness is a state of mind. The presence of Uranus here links the
super-conscious to the earthly power indicated by the 22/4. A blending
of spiritual conscious awareness with the proper use and control of the
world's material offerings, including the body itself, gives the
perfect state of being. Once this has been achieved, the individual is
no longer bound by earthly considerations but merely uses them with
reverence and respect.

I visited this event on Saturday. There was a lot
of interest in this, a party of French folk were here plus a few
others. I could not determine the format of the formation. Love to see
an aerial picture. The general lay is good with some rather wiggly
"straight" lines. one feature is a "triangle" with an area of standing
wheat. Another is a flattened circle with an area of standing wheat in
a cross shape off set. The lay in the large areas is good with a
ripple effect. It dowsed as positive, not surprisingly there is a
major energy line running through here, the same one that goes through
Uffington and the Rollrights. This time though the formation dowsed as
"live"

I am writing to inform you of The Fool formation that has appeared in
Eastfiled near Alton Barns in Wiltshire...
Whilst on my travels along the Wilcot/Devizes road, I passed a group of
people in the middle of Eastfield on my right. People stood in the
middle of a crop of wheat could only mean the emergence of a circle
(goodness knows we haven't had a bumper crop this year) and so I had to
stop and go and investigate.
When I arrived in the formation, I discovered many various shapes -
some were small circles with tiny standing crosses in them, others were
triangles and one was a long straight line with a teardrop type affair
going on on the end. Very strange indeed. I made a sort of sketch of
what I saw but it made no sense at all.
Later that day, I was in The Barge Inn when I was speaking to some
tourists from London about this formation. They told me that they had
flown over it earlier that morning and the Mary Magdalene one at
Stanton St. Bernard. They had photo's of them on their camera. They
said that from the air, the Eastfield one looked like a jesters hat, an
obvious hoax or a mockery at people like ourselves. I quickly made a
sketch of their picture on the digital camera and pondered over it for
a while.
Then it hit me. This formation is of the tarot card - The Fool.

The
reason I believe this is because the hat section of this (complete with
little bells) is quite obviously a jesters hat, or a joker. The long
line crossing 'the hat' on the right hand side (which I originally
thought to be an incomplete construction line) looks like a travellers
knapsack. The Fool carries a knapsack upon his travels! Please look at
the attachment I have sent for evidence of this.
The Joker from our modern day playing cards derives from The Fool and
originated during the Pagan suppression of the Dark Ages. Here is a
quote from June Kaminski, Bella Online's Tarot Editor on the
significance of the Fool:
'The Fool represents the "every person" - the essence of us all
embarking on the journey of life, self-discovery and mastery. He is the
innocent, the whimsical, the "inner child" mixed with the "inner sage"
that lives down deep inside of us all. He faces life and his journey
unafraid, trusting, the perfect example of total and utter faith that
all will be well, that every experience has a deep essential meaning.
He traipses along the crags of life, regardless of any hidden peril or
disappointment, his eyes are turned to the heavens and he knows that he
will be kept safe and whole along his travels. Key words associated
with the Fool are new beginnings, important decisions and optimism.

The Fool is sometimes known as the most worthless card, yet also as the
most valuable one. He is the first and the last, the alpha and the
omega. It represents both the fledgling beginner and the adept master.
The Fool reminds us of things, sacred things, that we have forgotten or
repressed. The Fool knows his or her own ignorance, thus is seen as the
most wise.
The Fool is the ultimate "Free Spirit" - this card represents the
self-actualized person, free from societal constraints, someone who is
able to let go of outmoded beliefs and ideals with the courage to
pursue their own special path.
When this card is drawn, we are faced with important choices and
decisions which need to be made as we begin this new life-cycle and to
deal with any difficult challenges along the way. The Fool tells us to
face these challenges with energy, optimism and faith, which will
ensure a positive outcome. It also points out that we must develop
faith in our abilities to make the right choices, to keep the faith,
and to walk our own unique path with optimism and hope...'
So you see why I felt compelled to write to you and share this
information with the visitors to your wonderful website. I am eagerly
awaiting the aerial shots of this formation (at the time of writing,
there still appears not to be, probably due to bad weather) so that
others can see the meaning of this profound formation - to me, the most
interpretable this year. There are one or two brilliant and mind
boggling formations this year, and some really bad hoaxes too, like the
pig and the wonky circle with zigzags through the middle. But this one
has a good clear message. Please, please, please share this message
with our global friends.
I thank you for your time in reading my e-mail and I urge you to keep
up the good work.
Love and Light to you all,
Lee Woodstock

I was making rounds this morning and
saw a small formation in East Field (see report for exact
location). I did not see Bearcloud at his normal spot to ask if he
had seen anything, but it was 0530 and he often leaves by then. I
went into the formation and it was a very odd design with odd
elements and appeared to be only partially complete. There were
some lines that went no where and were unfinished. Some of the lay
was neat, but others messy. I didn't take any pictures this
morning. There seem to be so many people hanging out at Knap Hill
or East Field that I'm curious if someone didn't see something
suspicious. Waiting for aerial shot |
