Reconstruction of the
2006 Barbury Castle formation

I puzzled what this formation was, the last thing I would have guessed was a snail. The best place to enter the field is at the cross roads at the bottom of the hill. It is easy to park and you can enter the field by the gate. Once over the gate be careful there is a ditch just inside the gate. It is a 400mtr walk to the formation. Again good feelings here, everything seemed right, the lay was good and the edges were neat. The intersections are good too and the snails head end although at the tram line is included in the lay. Much impressed by this one. There was a group of French on a crop circle tour and took over the centre of the formation so no pictures of that part.
