Crop Marking Field Report and observations. Stantonbury Hill, 2005
Report by chief Metaphysical Research Fellow, Dr Hans Flux
There it was, placed upon the hill like some great thing that nobody had
seen for an age, a thing that could perhaps lift us all, a thing that
could heal, could communicate, commune with us, could bring about the much
anticipated re-unification of the twin elements, And I was here - first…
As I stood at the roadside, before approaching the strange new arrival, I
could not help myself but wonder, “Is my imminent experience of close up
inspection and perception of the pattern going to deal yet another
withering blow to my model of reality and its rigid parameters?” Moreover,
“will the experience of actually being inside it leave me spiritually
enriched; causing a personal paradigm shift that will reverberate through
my conciseness far into the future? Will life ever be the same again?”
Questions such as these whirled around my mind as I stepped forth into the
unknown void of a North Somerset wheat Field.
As I approached the outer most extremities of the pattern a huge and
profound question formed in my mind, a question any honest meta=physician
would be compelled to ask at this juncture “How on Earth did those big
muddy boot prints find their way onto and all over this young crop?” The
Implication of my question was massive. As I looked further a shattering
and grim realisation spread over me like the stink from a tide of raw
sewage, “its a fake” I muttered to myself in despondent tones.
I looked a bit further. The level of incoherence throughout the pattern
was now fully and shockingly manifest to me, and it was not at all pretty,
in fact it was horrible. Howe could a small number of people come to this
place of power and beauty, with planks and ropes, and trickery and sleazy
thoughts, and then carry out this insult to this land of wonders. As these
thoughts went through me like a stream I felt a tug on my mind, on my
soul, it lifted me to my feet - and caused me to look off to my left, and
there it was, standing in relief amongst the stark green… A lone red
(faced) Poppy, bearing witness.
Clear evidence of a mechanical construction method is apparent throughout
the entire mess, stretched over 200 feet. As well as total coverage in
boot marks, mud, plank scrapes and cigarette buts, the overriding lack of
harmony here on the hill is a real embarrassment, and testament to the
incompetence of the perpetrators.
At this point I felt a strong need to depart the scene with great haste.
If my employers over at ACME Rockets Inc saw me giving time to this gaffe
I would be out of a job for sure.
