Silbury Hill (2)
Another impressive circle, again I was unaware of
the design while in it, a tribute to the skill of the circlemakers.
From the aerial shots it looks similar to the circles with
sunbeams that appeared at West Kennett Long Barrow last year and at
Avebury ?4? years ago. It also looks slightly like an Indian
Dreamcatcher, a common theme in circles of recent years.
You can enter this field, park by Silbury Hill car
park and pay a donation on entry to the field (North of the car
park).

Discuss this Crop Circle on the Forum
My first impression was that it looks like a very
stylized head of wheat. The added 'layer' of eye symbolism could be
indicating that the Mind responsible for this design understands that
the medium itself, the crop, is sentient and aware and part of the
creative process. I think with this formation, we are being reminded
that while the crop formations themselves are very beautiful, that
beauty would not be possible without the cooperation of the living
plants that make up the formations.
