| Location: | A few
miles at North of Stansted Airport (London). UPDATE About my yesterday rumour, to help identifying the location I would like to add that "I saw the circle from the plane, i was flying to Stansted airport thru Germany. The circle was located almost "under" the plane, but I could clearly seen it (very good weather conditions). Unfortunately I do not remember if the spiral (about 15-25m?) was clockwise or anti-clockwise since I was too surprised and i did not take any notes." |

SKETCHY ALIEN AT TAWNSMEAD COPSE Even if the shape of this small and very crooked sketched alien seems more than tale-telling about it origin (and I am not taking about little green men, at least not from outer space:) the story of its discovery and some ground observation may be interesting: It was the night of August 11/12, 2005, and I was together with my friends and coleagues Annemiecke Witteveen (NL) and Werner Anderhub (CH) on our usual night/morning controll tour around the the Avebury area. We arrived on the East Field lay by at abot 3:00am and had a look around. Then we remembered that crop circle photographer Frank Laumen told us the day before that the fields around Woodborough Hill were still not harvested. So out of the blue we decided to walk along the straight tramline of the still standing part of South Field (just next to the Tawnsmead copse fields) to the top of the hill to have a look there too. We took the first tramline and had quite a walk. During this walk we used our toch lights time after time to see were we were going and to scan the field. (Afterwards we were thinking that we would have looked very suspicious for other observers...) However, after some 200+ metres I used again my light and just a few steps ahead I saw a small crop formation that I did not knew of at that time - what a strange coincidence! After some looks around it became quite clear that what we were looking at was a small crooked sketch of something like an alien or snail figure - very funny. A bit disappointed about the obvious nature of our discovery we then continued our walk to the hill and returned later to our car, continued our tour and back home. The next day I returned to take some better looks and pictures. What I found was on one side an obvious man-made funny field-sketch - but it also showed some interesting details and features, such as some knot-works and nice swirls (see pictures). A good experience and chance to see what even hoaxer seems to be capable of.

Found this on the way from from Alyesbury via the A420 and then took the A417 I think heading towards Wantage, Oxfordshire - We drove drove a hill section of the A road that led to a fork in the road with the left fork leading to Wantage and the right Fork up a steep hill heading to Ashbury. Signpost on the road said 9miles -and we drove for approximately 5 -7MILES and spotted the circles on the left hand side of the road heading to ASHBURY. FLAVIA DE SOUZA AND ROGER SIMPSON. |

| Location: | I can't tell exactly as I have seen it on the train in the morning - its in a field between Twyford and Maidenhead but nearer Maidenhead - next to the train track - Berkshire. The field is next to a building that looks like offices/a college of some kind. The building has blue window frames. Looking on Street map i think it could be near Woodlands Park. |

| Crop: | ? I'm no expert - wheat? |
| Description: | Again, I see it from the side - but there is a main part in the middle that looks long and then several small circles dotted around it. There may be a pattern within it as i can see crop standing up within the main long part. Because the train goes past so quickly i cant take a picture. |

Hi There, thought I would email you about a large crop circle my boyfriend who is a pilot saw 2 weeks ago outside Wantage. I have been looking on the internet and wasn't too sure where to find out if the circle has already been spotted, however it looks like it hasn't. My boyfriend said it was over the village of Farnborough on the M4 side of Wantage, I am sorry I do not have a map reference but he said if it was necessary he would get one for you. He showed me where it was on the map and it is very near the road that runs through Farnborough. He said it was massive and when I showed him other pictures of the crop circles he said it looked most like the 'Sunflower' formation from a few years ago, but without loads of coloured in areas. I hope that is of help to you and I look forward to seeing it on your site, if it hasn't been cut, I am sure its not too far until the crops get harvested but you probably know more about that than me who just has a passing interest. I hoped to have a photo of it but my boyfriend has had to go abroad on work for 2 weeks so has been unable to get one of it. UPDATE:
Hi Mark, here is 2 shots i took of
the crop circle in the village of Farnborough it is at least 250
foot wide from my pacing out of it. I hope it gets flown at the
weekend, sorry the shots aren't very good but it is quite
difficult to photograph
This crop circle was made for 'A Picture of Britain' presented by David Dimbleby on BBC1. Catherine Hammond |

We just came back from England to France yesterday. We've spent a day near Stonehenge on the 21st of June, also in the hope to see crop circles. We think we have discovered small one, or maybe different parts of a huge one in a wheat field near Stonehenge. Its difficult to say when not seen from above. We noticed circle lines and other shapes from the road. We have stopped and went through the fields by foot to see it by ourselves. It was obvious that the wheat was folded down in a typical way and that it formed a drawing. We took a few pictures but there are not great because we didn't ask permission to the farmer so we were a little in a hurry!! It was on the road between Tilshead and Orcheston, near Stonehenge. Do you want to see the pics? Jonathan |

There is a crop circle at Milton Hill Farm next to giant's grave in corn field supposed to be a circle with a cross in it. so I was told, I hope to see it the weekend, it wasn't there Saturday afternoon but it was there Sunday afternoon. We recently sold the family home keeping most
of the family's photos and documents and i came across my granny's
diary (she was born in 1871at Monkton Farleigh Wiltshire near
bath) it says in there about her courting days she says it
was very difficult to find places to be alone without anybody
seeing them they would go to the corn field and press it down with
there feet but it was always uncomfortable she goes on to say one
day her husband to be, took a thickest branch and tied to each end
a piece of string and put his foot on the middle of the branch
and would press the corn down in a kind of circle so they could
lay down in peace and quite with plenty of room and corn to
lay on. they put several of these so called circles in different
fields away from their houses in case they were spotted going
into a field they would not always use same field as they
could go for walks in different direction the disturbed corn
was often put down to the deer, which often made her smile she
says, as people didn't really realise, what they were really
for she also says in her diary she was never caught but if she had
been seen coming from them she would of said they went to see if
there were any deer there I am quite sure now many of Wiltshire
children were conceived in the corn fields of Wiltshire and that's
were the saying comes from about a couple sowing there seeds and
having to reap the harvest I think the moral of this story is
keep a dairy cause the truth will always out ill always think of
granny and granddad when i pass those Farleigh cornfields
