POSSIBLE DAYLIGHT CREATION OF THE SERPENT ?
The day after our
successful evening at the Coronation Hall in Alton Barnes, we were
schedule to interview two witnesses to a sensational UFO light display
over East Field and the surrounding area.
The interview's went
without a hitch, and turned out to be very successful. While returning
to our cars, walking past the Helicopter flights from FAST
helicopters, on the lower slopes of Knapp Hill, we were suddenly
thrown into a totally different scenario. It appeared we had an
instant story to follow up, as the people waiting for their flights,
told us one of the helicopter pilots had discovered a formation, that
wasn't around on their first initial flight, but appeared on the
second circuit. This was incredibly exciting we thought. Not only
that, but the formation in question was literally just down the road
at West Overton. The time scale between the first and second flight
was around 2 hours 30 minutes, between 11:00am and 1:30pm. "No time
to lose we thought".
The design was that of a
serpent, with a snaking pathway on the southern slopes of West
Overton, overlooking the village of East Kennet. It has been a spot
for events in the past, but never have we had a possible daylight
creation on these lands. This location is very close to the
first major design
in Wiltshire, across from the A4, which could have also formed in
daylight hours.
The floor lay inside the
pathway, reminded us of the
Klondike formation from last year. Within the DVD
Out in the Fields
2003, I mentioned about the floor construction of this
formation, and how we could possibly see this again very soon. Well
the West Overton event, was almost a carbon copy, as the platted
effect within the central part of the path was extremely similar. The
plants had been placed over each other from left to right throughout
the entire path from one side to another. The whole length of the
serpent must have been around 150ft.
The story from the pilot,
was constantly being fine tuned, the time-scale was coming down to
just 1 hour 30 minutes. As I write this report, we are awaiting
further details from the Fast Helicopter pilot. Unfortunately the
formation was cut out on the 30th of July.
We will publish more on
this story soon.
