An experiment by Maurice Osborn to communicate with the crop circle aliens in 2004.

PART 1

Some time ago, I reported to you about my plans to create a crop formation in England with a message from humanity in an attempt to establish two-way communications with beings from other worlds.  Well, it took two full days of very hard work by six people, but the crop formation was completed on August 13, 2004.

This crop formation was located on a farm in Market Lavington, which is 4 miles south of the town Devizes in Wiltshire County of southern England.  Permission was obtained from the farmer beforehand at a cost of 300 pounds sterling.  Many people donated funds for this field and I am very grateful and honoured by that trust and assistance.

However, I regret to inform you that no new crop formation has yet to be discovered with a message in response to our message and all crop fields have now been harvested in England.  I have attached some photographs of our group in the process of creating the crop formation and an aerial view of the formation from the air.

Although I come away from this experience with wonderful memories and close friendships, I am disappointed that I was not able to accomplish my goal for two-way communications between humanity and extraterrestrial races.  But, it took 27 years for the 2001 Chilbolton crop formation to appear in response to the 1974 Arecibo message from humanity.

Perhaps a crop formation will appear next year with a response to our message or when they think we are ready for it.  If it occurs, you can be sure that I will translate it and inform you about its meaning.  Thank you for your support and your interest in this matter.

PART 2

I am sure that you must have received notification of the crop formation that I and others created on a farm at Market Lavington, Wiltshire County, England on August 13, 2004.  As you know, the formation contained a message from humanity in the same format as the message in the disk of the 2002 Crabwood Farmhouse formation.  I have attached the graphical representation of that formation as well as a new and improved version of an aerial photograph taken of it.  I would be delighted if you were to report on it in your website.  Unfortunately, I am not aware of any new crop formation with a reply to our message yet, but perhaps next year.  Thanks.
