THE RETURN OF THE PENTAGRAMS
The field that runs along
side the narrow road of Green Street, has seen a multitude of
formations, of contrasting styles, ever since the first formation
formed in this field in 1994 called
THE
WEB.
As the years pass us by, we
allow the process of time, to slowly show us the connections
between formations., as we move from season to season. Indeed the
1994 formation was the first of its kind, but one would say that
it had no connections to the formation of this year, but this is
not the case! The web in 1994 has now been established to encode a
pentagram within its geometry, almost like an invisible pentagram.
It was a powerful symbol, and was placed next to the henge to
symbolize the regenerative power of the moon.
Throughout the late nineties
and the new millennium, we have witnessed a number of formations
that include the same message time and time again.
The
Bourton formation in 1997 included a five pointed star
design, similar to the 2003 formation, and was associated with a
number of interesting healing events while visiting the formation.
Another intriguing formation formed just outside of
Beckhampton in 1998. This also included five-fold
geometry, with a double pentagram, which included invisible
pentagrams, outside of the formation, so the actual design itself
can have another signature associated, which is not visible to the
human eye.
The magnificent ‘Magnetic
Grid’ in the year 2000, once again very close to the
Avebury complex, also included pentagonal geometry, which clearly
demonstrated the connection between living organisms and magnetic
fields.
The Silbury Stars, also in the year 2000, and of course
once again in close proximity to Avebury, included an uncanny
resemblance to the formation that formed this year. Indeed the
central part is just a running theme from the 2000 formation, but
this time, instead of be encompassed by a circle, a huge pentagram
encloses the entire design. It’s extremely angular in design, but
extremely well made on the ground. One of the most clean cut
designs I have visited this year so far, and was placed in almost
the same location as the
2002 design.
There is no doubt that these
designs are clearly demonstrating the importance of the pentagram.
It represents the archetypal human, which has harnessed the five
senses, which is why it is used in Christianity. The outstretched
limbs of a human is contained within a five pointed star, and so
we have to assume this design is continuing the connection to
ourselves, and the spiritual insight of how sacred geometry an
enhance our lives. Paul Devereux, a leading writer on Earth
mysteries wrote about how the implied patterns in nature frame the
entry of energy into our space-time dimension.
