Formation north of horse racecourse within the circle of the racecourse

Code:  SUSSEX 2003/09

Location:  GOODWOOD, NR CHICHESTER, WEST SUSSEX

Reported:  29 July 2003
Crop:  Wheat
Design:  Complex six-fold flower
Dimensions:  Unknown
Spotted from the air by David Russell.  As yet un-surveyed.

REPORT:  A busy-looking design which incorporates elements of this year's Lewes and Patcham Sussex formations has been discovered by David Russell while flying over Goodwood, in a field within the circuit of the famous horse racecourse.

The design is based around six thin loops surrounding a complex radiation-type symbol with broken ring components around it.

No more is known about this formation at this time, but the general area has seen circular activity before, most notably at nearby East Dean in 1994, when two fine 'thought bubble' designs appeared.
