Here are the photographs (video captures) of the Deacon Hill formation you  told me about. The formation is close to the location of a formation back in  2000, but there has been nothing in these fields between then and now. An ancient track, the Icknield Way, passes next to the field.

The map reference is TL129297, the crop is barley and looking from the hill  side it does not appear the crop has risen very much. I was not able to go into  the formation for a detailed look.

Visited 9th June - In barley in a sloping field with a footpath at one end and the Icknield way at the other. No visible signs of entry though access would be easy. The formation is nearly five tramlines wide and very impressive when viewed from atop nearby Deacon Hill, though on closer inspection does show it to be a little untidy but that could be attributed to bad weekend weather. A 3D cube at the centre surrounded by laid and standing crescents surrounded by a hexagon the sketch above is a rough attempt at the shape in the barley. Hopefully Andrew King will be able to visit aerially, if not I will return and capture an image.
