The first formation of 2002 to appear in the UK, is about 50 ft (approx.) in diameter and is in Oilseed Rape. It is a single circle with
a simple ring. It looks a few days old now.

It is located at the north east end of Long Road, which is close to the village of Soberton in Hampshire. If you travel along the B 2150 road from Droxford, towards Hambledon, the formation is located on the right hand side, at a cross roads.

The formation is best viewed from the opposite direction travelling from Hambledon towards Droxford on the B 2150, The OS ref no is SU 625175

Having visited crop circle connector, I though you might be interested in knowing that I  spotted a circle on Friday 12/04 in a field of Oil Seed Rape in Hampshire.

The circle is situated along the Hambeldon to Droxford road (I don't know the name of  the road) in a field to the east of Droxford.

Although I didn't enter the field the circle appears to have a ring as well and be approx  80' diameter.

To view the circle from the road you will need to travel from Hambeldon towards  Droxford and it is situated on the left hand side of the road about 2 miles outside of  Droxford. If you travel in the other direction you would have to look over your shoulder  to view it (I think) as it on a slight hillside that is really only visible from one direction.
