Kent's second formation may be found just outside the picturesque village of Charing.  Set amongst idyllic countryside, it's placed alongside Pett Lane, close to Pett's Place.  The other side of the field is bordered by the Pilgrims Way, an ancient track way that many Kent circles have chosen to lay beside over the years.

The formation in ripened wheat is a simple affair consisting of three 33 feet diameter circles, forming a triangular shape.  The circles are spaced equally apart and lightly brush the tramlines.  Around their perimeter the crop is laid in an anti-clockwise direction, whilst the remainder of the floor interestingly features some chaotic cross-hatch feathering.  No residual energy was detected, but its probability of being situated on an alignment hasn't yet been ruled out.

Three  ~33 ft circles in a triangle were  reported yesterday at Charing, Kent. Examination by self and Joyce Galley this pm shown the lay to be very messy, except round the edges where it was laid CCW in all 3, there were no evident centres. The circles are 10 yards from a road, 50 yards from residential houses, no hedges. One would need to walk no more than 20 yards up a convenient tramline from a parking space to reach them!
