THE FACE AND MESSAGE AT CHILBOLTON by Andreas Mueller Updated Thursday 6th September 2001 |
The following comparisons show the crop formations in comparison to their
likely counterparts/original on mars and the Arecibo message of 1974. I have not seen the formations on the ground, so I can not judge their qualities. what I could do is working on their design and symbolism on a graphical basis - and that is what I did. I leave it open to you, what you take out of the results. To me it seems most impressive that everything in the fields seems to have been designed and made in nearly 100% scale to the original counterparts. Even the schematic version of the formation of 2000 that appeared in the same field as the message in 2001 is now shown in perfect scale and that with just the 1974 Arecibo-message-grid available to 'lay' it out (see: Picture 2). Click on thumbnail to enlarge Picture 1 Image Andreas Muller Copyright 2001 I started my quest for something that would match it with the famous 'Face on Mars' because of it's origin in space - as the Arecibo-Message has a similar background...and who else did not spend a first thought on the 'face on mars' when seeing the 'Face on Earth'? Click on thumbnail to enlarge Picture 3 Image Andreas Muller Copyright 2001 So I did two comparisons with the 'Face at Chilbolton' and it's Martian brother. The first shows the 1976 version of the famous 'Face on Mars' in it's first, lower resolution (see: Picture 3). The second shows the comparison based on the actual photos of what's left of the 'Face' after erosion (see: Picture 4). I still believe that there are enough artificial aspects to even it's remains to call it a 'Face' and to keep an eye and interest on it. that failed desperately, or the mask of pharaoh TutankhAmun - but they all
don't have all these equivalent points to match with the 'Face at
Chilbolton' Likely somebody else discovers similarities to other famous or non-famous
'Faces'. I would be interested to see them. |
