The formation discovered today opposite Silbury Hill has turned out to be nothing more than a sloppy piece of corn crunching that, from the ground looked as if it had been smashed down by a group of drunken vandals. This shabby effort showed no signs of fluidity or finesse at all leaving one with the impression that whoever made this one, should not give up the day job. What
is it! A
ring ranging from three to five feet wide (140ft diameter)
with one grapeshot (6ft diameter) and three smallish bent arms that, I
guess, are supposed to resemble keys. One of these arms is bent in a
semi-circular fashion so that it resembles a teapot handle. In fact our
eight year old son, who provided the diagram for this report, was the
first to suggest that the overall shape is rather akin to a distorted
teapot. Hmmm…
