| Attach a few ground shots of the formation in the lower south west part of East Field
taken last night (Mon 6 Aug) Believe this one only appeared on Sunday night and presume it's not
easy to get an aerial shot at the moment with the weather being bad. Seems to consist of 4 pointed
star with ringed circle in the middle and other patterns which I cannot discern around this. Checked
with compass to see if star was aligned due north south, but found it was not. Beautiful swirl in
the centre (see photo) and some criss cross lay in parts of the formation. Also odd stems of standing crop in flattened areas. Report by Melanie Gambrill |
