( This is the East Oakley pattern; it was drawn on 14-06-00 when visited. There was a lot of bird
activity in the circle when we got there. There were two small marks leading to the
satellite marked xx on the drawing. We also found an exit path from the satellite
marked * on the drawing, but we could fond nothing on any of the other satellites. I do
hope that you will be quick when you visit the pattern, as the farmer does not want
any visitors.)

Have you heard that there is a crop circle on the west side of Basingstoke, just to the south of
the main (London-Southampton) railway line. It is very easily seen from the train - a circular
formation - about 1 mile west of the outskirts of Basingstoke. I can give you better directions if
you need them.
Best wishes,
UPDATE
If you follow the main Basingstoke-Winchester railway line out of Basingstoke
towards Winchester, you find the B3400 crosses the line just on the outskirts of Basingstoke. Follow the railway for about a mile and there is
another smaller road that goes under the railway line just before it splits (before the village of East Oakley). The crop circle is in the field to the
south of the railway line, between the 2 roads and at the western corner of the field.
