I finally discovered this formation after revisiting the area after the Glastonbury Festival and discovered a circle surrounded by a wide crescent. Unfortunately the wheat had recovered. I was unable to enter the field as there was no lay by within a reasonable distance and my car was perched on the busy A361 road for only a few minutes as I surveyed the field.

I saw a circle on my way to Glastonbury, just on the Glastonbury
side of East Compton. It looked old but quite big. I don't know what road it is but its on your right
as you drive from East Compton to Glastonbury.
