I was interested to see your report about the above crop circle. My wife
Diane and I were driving back through Cuffley on Sunday the 18th June after
visiting some family and came across the crop circle. As we were visiting family we hadn't seen for a while we were fortunate enough to have our video
camera and took a short film of the crop circle. I saw your report during the
week and noticed that you hadn't yet received any photo's of the formation so
I had a friend of mine try to capture a shot for you, which I've just received. having checked your website for your email I again visited the
Cuffley page to find you already have photo, but with a difference. As you'll
see form my video capture taken around the time the formation was discovered
it hasn't got the W which is below the crop formation on the video capture
you have received. I haven't really taken an interest in crop circles before
until seeing this one and hope that my contribution will help your website.

Attached are a couple of images from the ground of the Cuffley formation
near Potters Bar. They are captures from some video footage I took. The
quality of the images is unfortunately very poor as the weather was thick overcast and it was late evening anyway. I will try and get better shots for
you. I was not able to get into the formation as it would have been nearly
dark by the time I found a way in.

The formation is behind the Cuffley & Northaw Youth & Community Centre and is
clearly visible on the right as one comes out of Cuffley under the railway
bridge. I will provide a map reference as soon as I find my map of the area.
From the road side it looked a very tidy formation with the crop still well
pressed down. It follows this years theme of triangles.
Report by Russell Stannard
Have just received a report from Hertfordshire Coordinator Mike Rogers, of a crop formation near
to Cuffley Railway Station. This probably formed about 18th June and is in wheat. A large
triangle with two sides measuring 140ft with slightly shorter base contains a smaller triangle with
centre circle of standing crop. A circle has been placed at each point of the large triangle and
each of these contains a small triangle. John Williams of Harlow has taken photos and I hope to be
able to forward one on to you in due course.
Joyce Galley, Secretary, CCCS
Mike Rogers of the Herts CCCS has had a formation reported to him. It is located near Cuffley railway station north east of Potters Bar on the B157. Located in green wheat it is approx 140ft in size and is made up of crescents and triangles. Further reports and ground shots will hopefully follow from Mike and we are hoping Russell Stannard will be able to photo the formation from the air.
