I eventually manged to visit the W.Meon formation with the farmer's
permission but got soaked to the skin! It is newly ripe barley and is laid clockwise.
Birds had stripped the seed heads on the western side. It appeared on the 21 June. It
measures approx 130 diameter and consists of 3 overlapping circles giving a trefoil effect
on the exterior. The over lapping circles form crescents inside the formation. The centre
consists of a circle broken by 3 small circles.

I thought you may like to know that I spotted a newly formed crop circle near the village of West Meon, Hampshire. It is in ripe barley and would appear to consist of a circle with ring surrounded by a "wavy" ring. It is located opposite Westbury House Nursing Home - approximately 2 miles east of the rape circle at Henwood from April 99.
