Description and Information: See Below
An old style double ringer with two small accompanying circles found in very green wheat.
Situated immediately north of Oxford Airfield, the formation is barely visible on the
ground from the road linking A4260 and A4095. First seen from air on June 13th, but has
also been noted by many pilots at the airfield.
Working inwards there is a narrow 2ft 6ins ring, 8ft separation to a wide 14ft ring;
another 14ft separation to the main circle which is 41ft diameter. All have clockwise
rotation, and the crop is jumping back very rapidly. the 2 outside circles are situated
20-25ft from the main formation, again clockwise, 13ft diameter. both have attractive
standing centres with the appearance of knotting. the rings cover 2 tramlines, with the
satellites isolated and showing no sign of disturbance. Axis is approx E-W.
