CROP CIRCLES IN 1999

Single circle in oil seed rape, approximately 60' in diameter. OS reference TQ 276 991. Though first spotted 5th May, the date of formation is not known. Mike Rogers, who visited the formation not long after it was discovered, reported that it was in good condition, with most stems bent but not broken. The formation was covered in the local press, though I do not have copies of the articles. The Evening Standard newspaper also expressed an interest in covering the formation, but I don't know if anything has appeared in print; more details if and when I get them.
