Chisledon (2), nr Swindon. Wiltshire. Reported 12th August.

I was told about the new formation at Chiseldon by James Peters on Thursday 12th August in the evening. Nancy Talbot and myself went to look for it there and then but could not find it but Ulrich Kox and two Germans managed to and I returned on Friday afternoon.

It is a simple formation with four interlocking circles and two small ones adjacent to it. It is large and spread out and difficult to make out at ground level. The lay of the crop "flows" nicely. I was taken by surprise by the strength of the energy there. I had laid down in one of the avenue for ten minutes or so and felt quite "zapped" by it when I got up. Some stems with expulsion cavities were found in the avenues.

My impression is of a simple but elegant design with a beautiful flow and powerful energy.

We have just been to see the new formation is Chiseldon opposite the fields in which last years 4 leaf clover and circle appeared.

It is not very visible from the road. The nearest ref point is a bus shelter.

We reckon the formation is over 500 ft long. It appears to be a large Vesica Pisces with two equally large crescents attached.
