Found a formation today on the Devizes-Beckhampton road, just east
of
Devizes. It's in oil seed rape. Large circle and ring c. 130' and grapeshot
c. 5'. John Sayer.

FIELD REPORT Just outside of the town of Devizes on the A361 driving towards Beckhampton, is what can be described as a crescent moon design in Oil Seed Rape with an incorporated narrow ring, perhaps some 60 feet in diameter. Again unfortunately I was unable to enter the formation, but it is situated in the field over from the huge Scorpion design which appeared in 1994. Report by Stuart Dike 16th April |
