A4 Puzzle Ring

This 100+ ft. formation in Barley appeared (smack on an old Roman road!) next to the A4 road at West Overton.

I am puzzled! The lay of the crop is most spectacular I've ever seen, but from the air it looks simply horrible. I can't find any "magically bent" stalks, but there are some magic standing ones. I 'm stumped!

Field Report

Located along the main A4 road towards Marlborough, just passed the The Sanctuary, was the second formation to appear on the night of the 24/25th May. Its appearance was rather confusing from the roadside, as entry is not allowed, but it was created within Barley just like the Lockeridge design.

Its situated quite a way into the field, and is on a slight incline. There are two sets circles, the larger of the two has a four section
design in the middle. In each segment there is a different shape. They incorporate a Star, A Fork, a circle with a connecting bar, and a right angled depression. These create a cross design within the middle of the circle.

The second circle placed separately to the first, has two half moon designs, or crescents. This design was definitely made by the same agency as the Lockeridge formation. Its seems the crescents have also returned this year, again showing us a reminder of the 1994 season. Hopefully we can have a more detailed report on this formation this   week.

Positioned further up the field from the Puzzle Ring formation is a single circle. It must have appeared around 29-30th May, and is at least 60ft in diameter. We are uncertain if anyone has seen it, as entry is prohibited from the Farmer. I feel its very important to report on these additional circles which appear after the main event.
