Found on 16th. June, in oats. Circle and rings swept clockwise, ring segments anticlockwise. Overall diameter 152'.
Reported by John Sayer.

Whilst driving along the A272 on our way to Avebury just before the solstice, (Friday the 19th of June) we caught a glimpse of a formation in a field of what we suspect is malt. On our return from Avebury the following Sunday, we investigated further. It seemed not to have been much visited, if at all. The lay of the crop was clockwise, and the seed heads had began to grow towards the light again. The formation was situated well into the field, with a two vertical tram-lines one, cutting it's whole length just left of centre, the other clipping the right hand edge (when viewed with the road behind you.) The length of the formation is approx. 100ft, although it was difficult to tell. The whole formation is situated near West Meon Hampshire, on the North side of the A272, half a mile east of the junction with the "West Meon Hut" pub on it. Two people out of four felt a "Happy, Tingly atmosphere". The design we have given below is an approximation, but it was difficult to tell from the ground.
