I thought you might be interested in a crop circle I saw just north of Portsmouth on 8 August 1998 (if you haven't already seen it). I was flying in a microlight at about 1500 feet and took the picture.
HEARTBEAT
This surprising and positive formation was found August 8th north of Portsmouth. It was about 150 feet long, in wheat. The cartoid shape is very similar to the Mandelbrot Set crop circle of 1991, but the lay of the crop was very different. This one formed around a large circle (outline), while the crop in the M-Set simply followed the heart shape.
