it was a very strange formation even more strange was the height of the crop, even if it was already ripe and dry the ears only reached lower that our knees. the overall design was kind of irregular and the lay pretty rough, however, hard to tell because the flattened plants were so short. on the ground there was nearly no contrast between standing and flattened crop visible.
