Thanks to ilyes for passing on the photographs and a big THANK YOU to Charles Mullett for having the only known photographic evidence that this formation appeared before the farmer cut it out.
This formation was cut out by the farmer before any of the regular aerial photographers were able to record it for us. Furthermore we do not know of any person who visited the formation and took ground shots and a first hand survey. So we would welcome anyone to supply us with photographs (aerial/ground), surveys or a field report.
Hopefully next year this lost formation will appear again for us to record.

PLEA FOR PEACE

This combination of the Hebrew Star of David with the Islamic Crescent moon - the symbols of the two faiths which have been at war for over a thousand years in the Middle East- was tragically cut down by the farmer within 24 hours. The 100 feet formation appeared August 5th in Bishop Cannings. If anyone has an aerial photo, please contact me at the Barge.
